Mario is a lovable and fun-loving 4-month old puppy, currently weighing only 15 lbs. We think he's a mix of schipperke and lab, but your guess is as good as ours. Based on his current size and age, he will probably grow to about 45 lbs, though nobody can be sure. Mario will be neutered before adoption and is microchipped and current on shots.
Mario and his 3 sisters Herina, Nelly and Rola were abandoned in a mountain valley when they were only 2 months old. The puppies were found by a park ranger, who heard yelps and wails coming from a sack. He opened the sack and found the puppies--bony, weak and full of fleas on their little bodies. The kind-hearted man took them to the vet and a rescuer for all the medication. All the puppies turned into cute, playful, sweet little animals. Mario's sisters were adopted in early October and now it's his turn to find his own forever home.
Mario is under the care of www.SaveDogs.org. There is a $200 adoption fee to help cover a portion of his medical & transportation expenses. An application and homecheck will also be required to ensure that Mario goes to an environment suited for him.
