Hello! Thank you for your interest...
My name is Sam. I am a professonal guitar player from the east bay. I have years of band experience in a variety of styles from jazz, to metal, to blues, to latin, to funk, to covers from all decades. I am available for anything from cover band gigs, to personal and corporate parties, to real estate sales (for atmosphere), to simply "filling in for the time being". I am punctual, learn very quickly, and have professional equipment. As far as being a player, I am very versatile, talented, and can either lay back in the pocket, or stand out with ease. I can also improvise at either a very advanced level, or with very simple, singing melodies. I can also read charts. On a personal level, I am very easy going, with a layed back personality. However, I have a professional attitude about what I do. This is my job, after all, and I treat it as such.
As far as payment, I am very flexible. I generally charge somewhere between $100-$400 per gig. However, I am more than willing to negotiate depending on the situation. I am also willing to travel, with due compensation (local is no charge, of course).
