We should note what the republicans have NOT done

In many posts, people say they are disappointed that voters did not look at all the things the Bush administration has done. I am disappointed that the CL posters and others who voted for Republicans didn't look at all the things that the Bush administration and the GOP-controlled House and Senate have NOT done.
In the last 12 years, the Republicans in Congress have done nothing to confront the health care crisis, strengthen Social Security, make U.S. manufacturing a priority, stop illegal immigration or ensure that the Chinese government lives up to its international obligations on trade and human rights.
What the Republicans did do was squander a budget surplus, pass a hugely expensive and confusing prescription drug bill and block an increase in the minimum wage. They destabilized the Middle East, lost track of Osama bin Laden and totally messed up the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief.
The corrupt Republicans made their bed, and we are kicking them out of it!
