We’re looking for passionate and socially aware individuals to help structure and produce the first in a series of short books targeting young people of age 11-18. The message we have is compelling, empowering, and vitally important. With your help, we hope to make it fun and enticing as well.
This is an unpaid volunteering opportunity that may lead to a paid ghostwriting or co-authoring contract position for the right individual(s). If you are a graduate student, we would be happy to coordinate an internship with your department supervisor. Full acknowledgement will be given to all whose ideas contribute to this project in any capacity. Ideally, we would like to hear ideas from several people in a group session in order to foster creative dialog, but we will also schedule individual appointments as necessary based on the level of response we receive.
The Passionate Life Project is a highly progressive effort aimed at the transformation of young people into confident, passionate, freethinking individuals that are able to manifest passion and abundance through self-awareness, accountability, and authenticity.
It is our belief that every individual has the potential to create a life of passion and fulfillment regardless of genes, circumstances or societal labels. This has been proven time and time again, yet is rarely supported by the feedback we receive from parents, teachers, peers, employers, and others. In fact, quite the opposite is enforced throughout most of our societal institutions, and we are instead pitted against each other to compete for so-called scarce resources, encouraged to avoid mistakes and subsequent learning for fear of ostracism, and led down paths created through the experience of others rather than stimulated to create our own.
Our intention is to help young people establish a context for their lives that honors above all their own unique desires and capabilities, thus attracting the relationships and opportunities that will make them happy, and in turn allow them to spread love to the earth and those around them. The underlying hypotheses involved in our work include Choice Theory, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and The Universal Law of Attraction, among others.
