MICO-- rescued girl dog needs a home!

Mico, about three years old, Female (spayed), 26 lbs, Mixed
very sweet & friendly, can get along with other dogs well
given all the vaccinations including 8-in-1 and rabies, heartworm tested negative
Mico was abandoned in a night market. She was not spayed and was pregnant, looking for food around the vendors in the market. When Mico was searching for food in front of a beef-noodle stand, the vendor found her and scared her away. But the smell of the beef was so inviting that Mico came up to the vendor again, lingering around there. The vendor became impatient and then poured a bucket of boiling water onto the starving dog. Mico's back was seriously burned and the pain almost killed the miserable dog. One customer witnessed what had happened and had an argument with the vendor. She called the rescuer for help . Poor Mico was sent to the animal hospital for treatment. The vet told the rescuer that the skin was burned out and the hair could never grow back. Possibly due to shock, Mico's babies became stillborn; the vet had to perform a surgery on Mico to take her dead babies out.
Mico is now doing well at the animal hospital. In spite of the trauma, she is still trusting people, very friendly and can get along with other dogs very well. Mico needs a permanent home where she is loved and cared for.
