Promising new Indian/Desi/Fusion band, Ehsaaz, is looking for an additional talented female singer. We practice and perform several types of songs including but not limited to bollywood, western, qawwalis, ghazals, and semi-classical. We meet at least every other weekend for about 4 hours--more often when we have a gig.
What we seek from a female singer, besides just having a great voice:
1) Experience singing in front of an audience
2) Flexibility in terms of singing the above-listed types of songs (both the willingness and the ability)
3) Commitment to practice and perform
4) Fluency in Hindi/Urdu/English preferred but familiarity with Hindi songs is a must
