Indie band forming; Need singer and guitar

We're looking to start up a band and need a guitarist and singer. I play bass, but can also play piano/keys where i can come up with song ideas. My friend is a great drummer and has played in my last three bands.
We're into low drama, collaborative writing, no egos, and creating really good, catchy songs. Good songs don't have to be complicated. Interesting, melodic, and unique chord progressions is what we strive for. We're both in our mid-thirties and have influences that include:
Grandaddy, Built to Spill, Quasi, Pixies, Beck, BRMC, Interpol, Blonde Redhead, Pedro the Lion, Dandy Warhols, International Noise Conspiracy, David Bowie, Queens of the Stone Age, Death Cab, Elliott Smith, Fountains of Wayne, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Koufax, Magnetic Fields, Replacements, Rogue Wave, Shins, Spoon, early Smashing Pumpkins, Superdrag, Travis, Weezer
We're looking for people with similar taste. We both live in SF, and we'd preferabbly like to get a rehearsal studio in either the city or South SF, playing twice a week. We want to be playing gigs by the summer.
