Volunteers need for Community Thanksgiving Day Meal

Lake Merritt United Methodist Church will host its 27th annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd. The Church anticipates serving over 400 dinners. Help is needed to help prepare and serve the meal. Volunteers are needed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. You can help for all or a part of that time. The meal is served between 1 and 3 p.m. Clean up is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The Church is located at 1330 Lakeshore Avenue/1255 First Avenue in Oakland.
