The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society is pleased to offer a Pet Loss Support Group to provide comfort and information to people whose pets have passed away. The group meets the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00PM - 8:30PM and the next meeting is Tuesday, November 21st. The group meets at BEBHS, 2700 Ninth Street, Berkeley (cross street is Carleton). There is no fee, although donations are appreciated.
Facilitators for the support group are Roy Gesley and Jill Goodfriend. Roy is the bereavement coordinator for Kaiser Hospice, and Jill specializes in counseling individuals and groups who have experienced loss and are dealing with issues of grief.
